Young John East spent Sunday in the country. J J. M. Helmick is building an addition to bis hotel. Prof. Mannon of Dunnville. was seen on our streets last Saturday. Rev. Hickman attended the National M. E. conference at Chicago. Mrs. J. Swisher and Mrs. Colvin attended Grand Lodge of Rebekah's at Indianpolis. Both reported a good time. Dunnville said he ate nine pieces of pie and it wasn’t mueh of a day for pie-eating either. The next time he goes to eat pie we hope he will not be so bashful but eat two or three more pies. Mrs. Lidtka, who has been an invalid for over three years, died at her home in this place Sunday morning, aged almost sixty years. A husband and six children survive her. Interment in Wheatfield cemetery.
