Weather becoming warmer again.' Mis* Blanche Price is the proud possessor of a new wheel. Jacob Troxell and wife visited Mrs. L, W. Benbow Thursday. Grandma Moffitt, the aged mother of J. L. Babcock, is on the sick list. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Benbow spent Sunday with relatives at Rensselaer. Sylvester Greenfield of Medaryville, visited hi* mother a few day* thia week. Ed Leach and family visited his father F. M. Leach, of the Gifford district, Sunday. Mrs. John Porter and Grandma Cox were the guests of Mrs. J. L. Babcock Tuesday. Everett Warne and family visited his grandmother, Mrs. Thornton, at Vaughn, Sunday. Mrs. John Garriott and Mrs. M. O. Gant visited O. M. Garriott and wife of Aix, Sunday. Mrs. Alfred See and daughter Mrs. John Philabaum, were the guests of the former’s sister Mrs. Mollie Norman, Thursday. Miss Stella Pierson accompanied her brother Omer, to Blue Island. 111., Sunday where they will remain with relative* for awhile. Judge Thompson’s corn crib near the depot is being converted into a business room which will be occupied by Dr. Kirk when completed. Aunt Mary Greenfield, who ha* been very sick, is improving slowly. Her daughter Mr*. Walter Harrington, and Mrs, Uriah Hardesty are nursing her. Mis* Maggie Keuton will preach here on Sunday, 27th at 10:30. Revival service* will begin Sunday night conducted by Miss Kenton, Rev. Rohrig and Rev. Carnes. Howard Hanjacher, who has been employed in a steel mill at South Cnicago, paid a flying visit to relatives here Sunday before leaving for hi* home iu Ottawa. Kan*. Preston Garriott accompanied him to Hammond.
