Decoration day will be observed in DeMotte. Charles Archer from Wheatfield, has moved *» DeMotte. Mr. and Mra. Al Clark of Hammond, were Melting in DeMotte last week. Tom Tyler was bitten by a dog on Monday, and at this writing is suffering a great deal. Miss Rose Pinkston and Miss Bessie Falr--1 child were shopping in Hebron last Friday. Mr. Charles.DonforJ of Tennessee, has moved to'DeMotte, and is expecting to work st blacksmithing. 34w. J. M. Troxell and Mrs. Ed Warren of tensselser, spent Sunday and Monday in DeMotte, calling on friends, The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Vandusen died last Saturday. Funeral Sunday at 11 arclock, at M. E. church, conducted by Elder Shreeves. M. M. Tyler, who for many years was a resident of this village but recently of Star City, Bas moved to Rensselaer, where he will make Ms headquarters. Quite a number from DeMotte attended the Christian church at Shelby last Sunday, to,be •resent at the baptisimal service in the Kankakee, conducted by Elder Shreeves. Elder S. R. Shreeves will go to Sherbun vllle, 111., to hold a two days meeting and preach tfce memorial sermon, Sunday, 37th. There will be no services at Shelby on next Sunday.
