The committee on the Old Folks’ entertainment to be given in the east court room on Friday evening, May 11, have secured the following judges to award the prizes: For old time music, instrumental, Jotin Makeever, Mrs. Mary Jane Hopkins, Mrs. Candace Loughridge, Simon Phillips, Ezra Clark. Prize presented by Alfred McCoy. For old time song, Alfred McCoy, Mrs. Felix French, Mrs. S. J. Austin, Mrs. S. A. Hemphill, F. W. Bedford. Prize by A. Parkison. For speech or declamation by lady. Henry Harris, Mrs. Elizabeth Purcupile, Mrs. Alfred McCoy, Mrs. M. L. Spitler, D. H. Yeoman. Prize by John Makeever. For speech or declamation by gentleman, A. Parkison, Mrs. Priscilla Hopkins, Mrs. Lena Tuteur, Jas. T. Randle, M. F. Chilcote. Prize by Henry Harris.
