Saturday afternoon, April 21, as Er call by Township Chairman eGlinn, the Democrats of Walker assembled at Oak Grove school house. Considering the time of yecr andthe distance m#ny had to come there was a very large and enthusiastic ci^owd. John McGlinn was choson chairman of the convention and A. L. Bouk secretary. The township organization for the ensuing year was then effected by selecting Joel F. Spriggs, Chairman and A. L. Bouk Secretary. There was no jangling, no diseord and the following well known men were placed upon the ticket: For trustee, Robert Zick; assessor, Charles Armstrong; advisory board, James R. Hershman, S. E. Huber, John McGlinn; justices, Lewis Zick, .lames SnydCr; constables, Stephen Satrin, John Schriber, Laban C. Peck; supervisors: Dist. No. 1, Janies Smith, Dist. No. 2, Jas. M. Spriggs, Dist.
