Court Decide* Stamp Cane in Favor of Eiprcw Compuni**. The United States Supreme Court de elded the cases involving the stamp tax aa it applies to express i*ackages, the question involved being whether the shipper or the carrier shall pay the express charges on packages. The opinion was handed down by Justice White, and was favorable to the express companies. The case came to the Supreme Court from the decision of the State Supreme Court of Michigan, which decision was adverse to the claims of the express companies. William F.
