Spinney, well known throughout the southern part of Jasper county, died at his home in ‘’Goodland on the 21st inst, aged 83 years. Both Brook and Morocco have started the Newton county seat fight to rolling again, it is, said, and each is circulating petitions for an election. If you move after to-day (Saturday) from one precinct to another, you cannot vote at the city election of May 1. Democrats should remember this.
