FARMERS’ INSTITUTE.

A Good Attendance and a Great Deal of Interest Manifested. The meeting of the Farmer’s Institute held in the court house last Friday and Saturday, was a complete success in every way. The attendance and interest was good throughout the entire session. The following officers were elected to serve during the ensuing year: Barney D. Comer of Union tp. was elected president, and Elder J. D. Carson of Remington, Secretary. The following are the minutes of the Institute: The tenth annual Farmers’ Institute for Jasper county, was held at the court house in said county on Jan. 12th and 13th, 1900.
