Freight Wreck at Surrey.
An extra freight north at 10:25 a. in., Wednesday was wrecked at Surrey and thereby played havoc with the passenger and mail service at this point, A car loaded with pig iron broke down and four heavily loaded cars piled on top of it. No one hurt. The south bounJ 10:55 train ran down to Surrey but could not pass, so backed up to Fair Oaks and went over the Coal road via Mt. Ayr, Foresmaa and Goodland, thence over th* Panhandle to Reynolds. The north bound trains went via Wilders, as usual, in wreck cases north of Monon. The wreck was cleared up at 5:30 p. m.
