The Raymonds, Hindoo Hypnotists, will give a performance at Austin Hall both Friday and Saturday night, Dee. 15 and 16. Erwin Bros. Comedy Co. held the boards at Austin Hall Wednesday night and Thursday night, presenting a very creditable performance. They are stars in their line. Mrs. P. S. Griffith has so far recovered! from her recent illness to be able to attend Rabekah Lodge last Tuesday eve. Her presence was the source of much pleasure to her many friends. The dedleation of the new Christian churek took place last Sunday. The dedicatory services were conducted by Rev. L. L. Carpenter, of Wabash. There was a debt of $2,800 against thffbuilding and Dr. Carpenter raised $3,300.50. They have a handsome and comfortablpeburch building. Onmhalf of the Rebekah Lodge was tendered a supper Tuesday night by the “other half,’’ after the business of the Lodge was done. About 80 were present. A very enjoyable time was had by all. A great many were not' present owing to very bad weather. The lodge is in a healthy and prosperous condition. SAN PIERRE. [Starks Co.] Miss Blanche Payne is on the sick list. L. Renewanz made a flying trip to Knox last Saturday. Mrs. Wm. Hwizen of Wilders, was seen on our streets last week. The shadow social at San Pierre last Saturday eve was a grand success. The barber swiped every one of John Finn’s three-year-old whiskers last Saturday. Charley White of Wheatfield. was the guest of Miss Gerber of Dunnville. last Sunday. Harry Remley spent last Sunday at borne. Hairy reported everything right side up with care. The entertainment given by Walter Crow at this place last Tuesday and Wednesday evenings was good.
