CONSUL BEDLOE SUSPENDED.

Consul Edward Bedloe of Pennsylvania, whosmoost is at Canton, China, has been by the State Department and granted permission to return to the United States. Consol Bedloe’s suspension is -due, it is stated, to the fact that he gave a certificate of American ownership to the filibustering steamer Abby, which was subsequently seized by the gunboat McCulloch.
