The Jasper Circuit Court.

Following are the more important cases disposed of in the circuit court this week: State vs August Schreiber, assault with intent to rape; the jury found defendant guilty and fixed his punishment at SSO and costs. The jury was out several boms. State vs John E. Alter, perjury; jury returned verdict of not guilty, after deliberating an hour and a half. Mevis vs Vogel, maliscious prosecution; plaintiff failed to appear and judgement for costs was given defendant. Armour vs Kleinsmidt, account; judgement for plaintiff, $54.70. Heinzman vs Board of Commissioners Jasper county, balance claimed as due them on court house; plaintiff granted change of venue and case sent to White county.
