—No oats sowing in March this time. —Weather cold and plenty of snow, at present. —Sarah Smith is recovering from a severe sickness. —Charles Randle says the roads are improving up east. —Ora Henkle is visiting relatives at Shelby, this week. —John Hayes of new Blackford, spent Sunday in this vicinity. —Mrs. J. N. Sample is visiting relatives at Wabash, at the present time. —John Hayes spent Tuesday night with his brother, Will, near this place. —Mary Wright and Bertha Nichols were the guests of Anna Sample, Sunday. —Harvey Kannal of Rensselaer, was in this vicinity, Friday and Saturday of last week. „ —Mary Belle Moore went to Valparaiso Monday, where die will attend school this summer. —Several young people spent Sunday afternoon at Mr. Samples and from all appearances were enjoying theamdves. —lt seaaM that when Mr. Newell’s hands goto the timber to chop wood they fund more pleasure in ratrhing ground hogs. How is it boys? —The Raster entertainment at the Barkley M. E. church will be postponed from April 2, to April 9, at three o’clock Pl m.. on account of bad rands. —Several of our young people will attend the spring term of school at Reneeelear, this spring.
