Pictures Through Insect Lenses.
One of the later marvels of little things is the taking of pictures through the lens of an insect’s eye. We are filled with astonishment, says F. W. Saxby, when we reflect that from a dragon fly's head we could obtain 2a.000 perfect lenses, so minute that a million of them would not cover a square inch, and yet each be capable of yielding a recognizable photograph.
