Yet all the predictions made in his behalf seem to hare m’scarrled. After severe theological studies at the seminary of Eichstaedt In Bavaria he was ordained by Bishop von Leonrod July 26,1898, and ever since has shown a fervor and a seal for bis new duties In life which seem to promise well lor the future. He has preferred to become a migrating preacher, and began bis ceaseless round by a series of religious talks to the laboring classes of London. He showed himself possessed of rare eloquence and unusual powers as a preacher, and has been promoted to be coadjutor at the Cathedral of St Walbnrga In Eichstaedt. Y few days ago he delivered a remarkable sermon on the duties which the rich and high bom owe to their less favored brethren, and the place where he delivered It was as remarkable, for, It was at the famous Theatlne court church In Munich, before a congregation made np of the very flower of Bavaria’s aristocracy.
