The town of Remington has been sued for 15,000 for damages alleged to have been sustained by Mm. J. M. Ott of that place by by foiling upon a defective sidewalk last April. Plaintiff alleges that while accompanying her husband to church on April 10th of this year the latter stepped upon a loose board, causing same to fly up and trip her, and she .was thrown violently to the ground, sustaining injuries to her left knee of a permanent character, wan compelled to use crutches for several weeks, and in unable to perform but littMabor.
