A German author, G. ‘ Solomon, has written a treatise in which he recommends that children should not be sent to school till their seventh year; that in the first year three hours a day should be the maximum of brain work, and that the bodily health should be looked after with special care from the ninth to the twelfth year. ■ • ; An incendiary is supposed to have set fire to the stables of the J.
