Tho official count gives Major a majority of two and Dowell only three. These are narrow margins, but J. A. McFarland will sell you groceries on a narrower margin than that. Harry Noland, the young man from Remington who was confined in jail here for several months in default of peace bond, and was finally released and taken to Indianapolis by his mother, wandered back to Remington last' week and after bowling up on Remington whiskey, started out to seek some one to 'devour. He wa••finally arrested, and taken befoi Ksquires Bloom and Chapbell for, examination as to his sanity. He was declared insane and application made to Longel ff asylum for ids reception. The unfortunate young man is at present n the county jail. 1
