CANADA IS FOR PROHIBITION.

Canada ha* voted for prohibition. when the returns are all In it is likely a majority of about 10,000 will be found in favor of the total prohibition of the liquor traffic in the entire province. The wtiw all voted strong for the saloons, bnt were outvoted by the country districts. The French province of Quebec gave a majority of 35,000 against prohibition. Ontario cities gave majorities of 8,000 Toronto, the headquarters of the prohibitionists, voted 4,000 majority *g»iw<n prohibition. Mrs. G. S. Foster, living in Louisville. Ky., sent her little 4-year-old daughter to a neighboring drug store to purchase quinine. Tbe little girl returned with a white powder which resembled quinine, put some in her coffee and drank. She wss Immediately taken sick and died soon after.
