WILL BRING TROOPS NORTH.
Uninfected Portion of Shatter's Army to Be Moved. Arrangements are being made to begin the movement of troops from Santiago to Montank Point, L. 1., immediately. The greater part of Shafter’s army will probably not be withdrawn from Santiago until such time as the yellow fever shall have been thoroughly stamped out. It is believed, however, that some of the cavalry regiments can be safely brought to Long Island and placed jn a healthful camp at Montauk.
Santiago's Tariff Regulations. The President has signed the war tariff regulations for Santiago, and they have gone Into effect.
