THE INDIANA STATE SENTINEL, WEDNESDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 21. 1894.
ALL THE RETURNS NOW IN
nnslLT OF THE OFFICIAL COINT OF TUB BALLOTS. Onen la Klrrtrd lr rinmlKf of 4I,S3.V-rronlbltlonUU Lout Ground nd I'opull Gained County Pluralities on he Hmd of the Ticket. Dubois and Sullivan counties sent In their official returns to the secretary of state Wednesday, completing the list of counties to report. The completed official return?, however, show that Mr. Owen 13 elected by a plurality of 44,825, or a majority over all candidates of 3.S21. The total vote on the head of the ticket la as follows: Myers. 2C3.40S; Owen, 2S4.243; Taylor (pro.). 11.021; Robinson (populist). 23,587. Mr Myers and Mr. Owen both lead their tickets by nearly 4.000 In the state. This Is largely due to the ignorance of the voters, who stamped the name at the head of the ticket, thinking it voted the whole ticket. The luss of bo:h parties in his way was about the same. The total prohibUlm vote of the state on 'the head of the ticket wua 11.021, which ' waa wihln a few votes of the vote on all the state ticket. This party abo loft some on account of Lhe ignorance of the voters, but not so many as did the populist. The total populW vote cast in the state for the head of the ticke: was 2?,97. In 1S92 the vote on the h-ad of the ticket was as follows: For Governor Matthews, 26').6öl; Chase. 253.625; Worth (pro.). 12,9C0; Templeton (populist), 22,017. It Ls thus seen that after two years the prohibitionists lost votes in the state, while the populist gained 7.970. 'S Famous Catarrli Remcfly Its Oriiin, Its Ccmrasition, Its History. . In a recent medical work It Is ftated thait In the early practice of Dr. Hartman he called the compound which Is now known as Pe-ru-na The Neutralizing Mixture. For over twertty years Dr. Hartman continued to use this valuable remedy for catarrhal diseases as his private prescriptkn. The demand became so great for his remedy outside of hks regular patients that ho -was compelled to furnish the remedy to the regular drug trade. It was then that the remedy was named IV-ru-na. Dr. Hartman used the remedy in over thirty thousand cases of catarrh before It was introduced to the general public as a catarrh remedy. Pe-ru-na, as a remedy for chronic catarrh, whether of the he-ad, noise, -throat; lungs, stomaeh, kidneys or bladder, hts become known all ovct th-3 civilized portions of North America. The reasons Te-ru-na has taken the lead of all other Catarrh remedies are First It never fails ro cure when properly usM. Seamd Tt permanently cures instead of giving temporary relief. Third It cures chronic catarrh whereever bx-atol. Fourth It is composed entirely of vegetable products and Is perfectly harmless. Fifth The personal advice of Dr. Hartman in any case of chronic catarrh can be had free of charge by letter by any one taking Pe-ru-na. In consequence of ithe early and severe snow storms prevalent throughout a great Ir:lon of the I'nited States every family should at once provide. Itself with a ccpy of the latest treatise on chronic catarrh and diseases of winter. This b'xjk contains advice which, if fc-ilowod, would Rive tliousands of i.ple fr om chrvnic catarrh and consumption. Sent fne on application. These storms are bringing a frightful epfdemie of eoughs, c"lds, influenza, la grippe, and acute catarrh. m-n of whl.h will bo sure to end in either chronic catarrh or death unless every household is pn.ividexl with IV-ru-na in time "to preV(ut these disorders.
