A deitruciive cyclone visited Armstrong Aeaderry, I. T , Fort Washita and Green at an early hour on Saturday morninr, causing erf at destruction of property and loss Of iif. The following ar9 the casaalDie. a? far as known: French Aria trip, U. rt. Army, Washita, kilied; A. B. Lirroln, V tsaita. killed: Henderson J Aft, Oren, ki'id; Peter Keson, Green, killed: two children, remes unknown, silled; William Covias;tcn: Armstroi!? Acadiny, botü legs broken: Hcnrr Wait. Washita, arm and leg broken; Mrs. Wait, Washita, arm broken. A b?rric rumb'ing onni was heard hont 5 o'clock. It startled the feweattlers from their sleep only to awake them fci the horror of impending death. A heavy bltok eloud, funnel shaped, was seen in the distance and rapidly approachin. When about a mile north of Ft. Washita, it struck the ground, and from this point south for miles the work of ruin wss continual. Ths cyclone traveled at about the rate of a mile a minute. In an instant from the ticne it truck the erth half the houses in Ft. .Washita were la ruins. Lgb.t out-hou?33 and dwellings were tucked no ani osie Into kindling wood by the fury of the wind. ArmstroEK Acadamey was not greatly ln jured, but ranches in the immediate neighborhood sufiered ersatly, At Green, a little hamlet alz miles ssutb. cf Armstrong, the damage was very heavy, ud. many persons were ini urea, öiyeiv teen houses and a general store were ear ned away bodily, while horses and cattle within the territory covered by tha etorm ling were killed or mained. The damag at this time cannot, of coarse, be estimated as the full extent of the storm Is not known. The two children killed at Green were carried about sixty yards by the wind and dashed to the ground, mauled so as to be almost unrecogn'zsbl. Many cattle and other stock were killed by liehtnin?. The storm only lasted about six mlnnte3 at any one point. FUNERAL. COMICALITY. Two Organizations Quarrelling Over the Dead Anarchists Bodies. Chicago, December 17-Conflict of author ity between tbeAnarchist Relief Committee sometimes known as the Defense Com mittee, and a committee appointed by the Central Labor tnion, baa led to a compli cation that furnishes a comical element in the otherwise solemn aßair of the burial cf the Anarchists, that is announced to take place to-morrow. The burial lot at Waldheim Cemetery was bought by the Defense Committee, the members of which do cot feel called upon to give np the property to the Central Labor Union, profcBaiDg to believe that such action was not intended by the request of the dead men that the Union take charge of the burial. It appears, however, that Mrs. Eagel, tue wiJow ot treorge tngei, and who con trols the disposal of the body of Louis Lirgg, has got into a quarrel with the Defense Committee, and will not allow those two bodies to be buried except by the central Labor union to the the exclu tion of all other organizations. But the Central Labor Union has no exclusive control oyer the burial lot, and cannot bury the two bodies in it withont the con tent of the Relief Committee. Unless, tnereiore, this committee comes to an un derstanding with Mrs. Engel the bodies of Er gel and Lingg will not be interred to morrow with the rest. In addition, Miss VanZindt has expressed a desire to be buried beside Spies, ani the Relief Committee has promised to gratify ber wish as far as possible, by placing him separate from the others and leavinz room for ber. This, for some reason, seems to have added to the jealously between the two committees, and feeling runs high. One of the principal difficulties between the two committees is over the inscriptions on tablets or monuments to bo raised. The Central Labor Union la ea'd to want a f cry poetical Inscription, while the Relisf Committee appears to desirs only some thing to commemorate the personality of the men. lilain Talk. New York, December 14. Postmaster Joseph Manley, of Augusta, Maine, is in town, lie la here as a delegate to the Republican club convention, in an inter view yesterday he said : "I have no Ques tion but Mr. Blaine will be nominated at Chicago, and by acclamation, because Republicans in every section of the land regard his nomination as tha strongest one that can be made. Of course, I don't know wfcat Xir. El&ine will do, but I believe he is too much of patriot and too good a Republican, whatever his private wtebea and desires may be, to decline such a call jmade upon him." Sunday Shooting Matinee la Shelby. bilb7till, December 18. Special. Jotb.ua tail snot James Harper in the back cf the head this morning, the ball glancing fl bis skull a few inches above where It entered. There was bad blood between the men oth cf whom are negroes, and when Hill Tasted Harper, who was sitting on the iecce, on the opposite) side of the street, the latter got down and started toward him with aeane to beat him. Hill warned him to stop, and as Harper came on be J:xt d. Tha trial is t for Monday,
