LET IT PASS.

Ee not swill to take offense; Let It pass! ' - Anger Is a foe to sense; : -i Let it pass! Brood not da'kly o'er the wrong Which will disappear ere long; Rather sing this chtery song . Let it pass ! Let it pass! Strife corrodes the purest mind; Let it pass! . A the unregarded wind, Let it pass! Any vulgar souls that live May condemn without reprieve ; 'I'is the noble who forgive. Let It pass! Let it pass! , . " Echo nt an angTy word ; Let It pass! Think how often yon have erred ; Let it pass! Since our joys must pass away. Like the dewdrops of the spray, Wherefore should onr sorrows stay? Let them pass! If for good you've taken ill, Letitpa;s! Oh! be kind and gentle still;

Let it pass! Time at last makes all things stral; I.et os not resent, bnt wait. And our triumph shall be great; Let it pass! Let it pass! '

Bid your anger todepart; . Let it pass ! Lay these homely words to heart ; Let it pass! Follow not the giddy throng ; Better to be wronged than wrong; Therefore, ting the cheery songLet it pass! Let it pats! All the Year Round.

" Safe, permanent and complete are the cures of intermittent diseases performed by Clifford's Febrifuge. Dumb chills, fever and ague, and all bilious disorders, are speedily eradicated from the system. Health and vigor are obtained more rapidly and more permanently by the use of this great natural antidote than by any remedy heretofore known. It disinfects, cleanses and eliminates all malaria. As a tonic it acta as an antiseptic and blood purifier, bringing renewed energy and vitality to the body worn down by disease. J. C. Richakdboh, Proprietor, For sale by all druggists. 8L Louis. Tbe Ravasrrn or ConnmptiM. The fearful death roll, covering from a fourth to a third of tbe number in nearly every published bill of mortality, shows how vainly the medical profession is contending with this cruel enemy of our race. Every one feels that some new agent of relief and cure is the imperative demand of the age. That such an agent acting in perlect harmony with science and the laws of physiology, has been discovered in ''Compound Orygen" we confidently declare. Some of the most brilliant cures which have been made during the past 12 years by this new treatment have been in consumption. The amplest information will be found in our "Treatise on Compound Oifgen." It is sent free. Address Dr8 Stark ey fc Palex, 1112 Girard Street, Philadelphia, Pa.

Testimonials of the effect produced by these remarkable preparations are wrapped around every bottle, and may be procured of any druggist, or by mail from the office of the Centaur Company, 46 Dey street, New York City. , i "

Consumption Cnred. - An old physician, retired from practice having bad placed in his hands by an East India missionary the formula of a simple vegetable remedy, for the speedy and permanent cure of consumption, bronchitis, catarrh, asthma and all throat and lung affections, also a positive and radical cure for nervous debility and all nervous complaints, after having tested its wonderful curative powers in thousands of cases, bas felt it his duty to make it known to his suffering fellows. Actuated by this motive, and a desire to relieve human suffering, I will send, free of charge, to all who desire it, this recipe, with fall directions for preparing and using, in German, French or English. Sent by nail by addressing with stamp, naming this paper, W. W. Sherar, 149 Powers' block, Rochester N..Y.

Qasiotlittle caps are worn as head dresses with full drees evening toilets. Too much jewelry, it has come to be un derstood, is always to be avoided. Handsome sashes are painted on the ends,

instead of embroidered, as formerly. Reception dresses of cashmere are trimmed with silk and imported embroideries. Pink with blue in the pompadour corubi-

cations is seen in the new satin ribbons. j Breakfast cap9 are made of cambric, with embroidered edges, and are finished off with satin bows. India muslin neckties and scarfs are shown in white, pink and blue, with Breton lace trimmings. Spring bonnets will be much larger than those worn this winter, and will tie closer under the chin. A lovely shade of green is known as "roseau," and is the pale gray tint seen in sea grasses and reeds. In dressy wraps for spring black mantles will be most used. Tbe shapes are similar to those of last season. In percale and gingham suits each part of the dress is made separate in order that it may be easily washed. ' Tasteful suits for spring are made of plain gros grain, trimmed witn striped satin and moire of the same shade. Tbe bonnets with flaring brims have no face trimming, but are lined with shirred satin of a becoming color.

The black chip round hafs for city use are of English shapes, and in the style known last year as Equestrienne. Kid cloves are worn to the elbow to meet

Hie Martha Washington sleeve, which is generally made of lace or tulle. Cashmeres of all kinds will be fashionable for next season's wear; those coming in rich dark shades will be preferred. A handsome trimming for evening dresses is chenille embroidery. It comes in the new shades of olive wood and pale-blue. For trimming plain silk or wool dresses there are very narrow lines of satin and reps alternating in all the stylish shades. The boudoir fan is something new, and conceals among its intricacies a powder-muff and powder, as well as a tiny ivory comb. Bilks for rich costumes have satin and repoed stripes alternating in two beige shades with lines of blue or cardinal between. Daring lent our merchants and milliners . are bnsy preparing for the splendors of Eas- .' ter.when fashionables appear arrayed in new garments. The present exhibit of calicoes show a tendency for plaids and solid grounds, over which run pratty figures in various designs. The prices are all very moderate. Chintz bindings of satteen in tiny rosebuds or leaves edge tbe new collars, and ex

tend down the frnt of the chemisette; a gold

button fastens thecollar at tbe neck.

New linen collaa are in English shape, with turned-over corners, and are nrovided

with long chemisette fronts, that nil up the

open space in tbe low-throated dresses.

Food's Extract. "A. sovereign remedy for inflamed sore eyes," says T. Robertson Ithaca, N. Y. Dr. A E. Sumner reports 133 cases (out of 138). of Egyptian ophthalmia, (sore eyes), in St. Peter's Hospital, Brooklyn. N. Y., being cured by Pond's Extract. "This Extract was diluted one-half with water, and a cloth wet with it bound over the eyes." Tbe doctor's Rnort in the Medical Union. Pond's Extract should be in every hous? hold, as it is invaluable for the little accidents that are always liable to occur, such as cuts, burns, bruises, etc., and it is of tbe greatest benefit for hemorrhages, neuralgic

pains and in nam mation, while for catarrh, piles, etc, it is tbe best known remedy.

Sever Ketnrn. It is said that cne out of every four real invalids who go to Denver, Col., to recover health, never return to tbe East or South except as a corpse. Tbe undertakers, next to the hotel keeper, have the most profitable business. This excessive mortality may bs prevented and patients saved and cured under the care of friends and loved ones at borne, if they will but use Hop Bitters in time. This we know. See other column.

Mr. Isaiah T. Clymer, a practical Pennsylvania farmer, claims to have made a discovery by which from 25 to 50 per cent, may be gained in the yield of marketable potatoes. His offer in advertising columns is therefore worthy of consideration, showing, as it does, his entire confidence both in the value of his system and in the Integrity of his fellow farmers, which we are sure they on not but appreciate. We ask a rareful rending and a thoughful

consideration of what follows : It is now over 12 years since a new cure for chronic diseases

was discovered, known as "Compound Oxt-

OCX." The results which have followed its use up to this time have been so remarkable that It is beginning to a" tract the widest attention

Many intelligent p' tysicians in various parts of the country have, after a careful Investigation of its scientific and pathological claims.

nsed It in cases where all other known rem

edies had failed, and with a sncoess alike sur

prising to themselves aud their patients. In

Consumption, Catarrh, Asthma, Bronchitis,

Headache, Dyspepsia, and the wide range of

Neuralgic disorders from which so many suffer life-long tortures, it has rarely failed to give

relief, and in many eases to make permanent

coxes. It is not a drug, but a new combina

tion of the two elements which make op our

ooramon air, giving oxygen in excels. It is

taken by inhalation, and cures by natural and

orderly processes first, by eliminating the exCrssol carbon which has accumulated in the

system, and, secondly, by a revltallzation of

all the great nervous cenu-rs. In order to give tbe public an opportunity to learn all about

this new treatment, we have prepared a carefully written Treatise, in which is presented a

mode of action, and large details of the results

which have followed its administration. This Is sent free by mall to any one who may desire
