Proposed Reunion of Dlstlne shed M.n. A correspondent, -writing from CoTington, Indiana, iugyesta that a reunion be hadt Bometime during the sitting of the ensuing legislature, of the surviving members and officers of the convention that framed the present constitution of the state of Indiana. 'Time." he remarks, "has swept many of that body away, but their "work survives and constitutes the groundwork of the government of an en lightened people of a great state for over a quarter of a century. Such a reuniqn would present many vacant chairs, and soon all will be empty. Could not those whom the scythe of time has left, although in the sere and yellow leaf, come together once before the final call, and meet face to face in cordial fellowship?" Oar correspondent adds that the suggestion is made in the hope of response from the survivors. The case of Jonathan K. Gapen et al. against the board of trustees of the Wabash and Erie Canal, appealed from the United States Circuit Court of this district, comes up for argument in the United 8 rates Supreme Court on Wednesday next, November 13.' Judge S. Claypool. representing Gspen, and Senator McDonald, representing the trustees, left last evening for Washington to argue the caae. Ko Doubt. Judging from the universal satisfaction that Dr. Trice's Unique Perfumes have already given, there is no doubt bat that as high a reputation for charming perfumes will soon be acquired by the firm of Steele &. Price as they have already gaintd for their culinary preparations. The delrcate f rarancejof lr. Price's Perfumes makes them Terr popular. Citation to I tie Public. To avoid imposition, purchasers of Wal--tham watches will cbserve that every genu ine watch, whether gold or silver, bears our trade mark on both case and movement. Gold ca9s are stamped "A. W. Co." and guarantee certificates accompany them. Silver cases are stamped "Am. Watch Co., Wal- ' tham. Mass , Sterling Silver," and are accom panied by guarantee certificates, signed It. K Robbins, Treasurer. The name "Waltham" is plainly engraved upon all movements, irrespective of other distinguishing ; marks. Thircaution is rendered necessary by reai son of the fact that our cases are frequently ' separated from our moementsand put upon worthless movements of other makers, and - vice versa, thus affecting injuriously the performance of the watches and vitiating ' our guarantee, which is Intended to cover only our complete watches wholly made by ' ns. . It is necessary also because it is so notorious as to be a public scandal, that there ' is great fraud in the metal quality of both void and silver cases as now generally sold. ' We have demonstrated by frequent asaya that many gold and silver awes offered In the market are debased from 10 to 20 per cent, from the quality they assume to be. This is a fraud upon the purchaser, and accounts for the low price at which such cased watches have been sold. "Eighteen carat" gold, uch as the Wal tham cases are made of, is as nearly pure gold as. can be made and be durable. It contains 750 1000 of pure gold and 200 1000 of alloy. Sterling 8iver(Eiglikh government standard) contains 925 1000 of pure silver and 751000 of alloy. The Waltham Watches will always be found up to the standard represented. For American Watch Co., Robbins & Appliton, General Agents, New York.

II 1 Worth a Trial. "I was troubled for many years with Kidney Complaint, Gravel, etc.; my blood became thin; I was dull and inactive; could hardly crawl about, and was an old worn out man all over, and could get nothing to help me, until I got Hop Bitters, and now I am a boy again. My blood and kidneys are all right, and I am as active as a man of 30, although I am 72, and I have no doubt it will do as well for others of my age. ' It is worth the trial." Father.)
