is lately from the south and shows the slightest sign of malarial fever, he is to be sent at once to tie city, or quarantine hospital, according to the character or stage of the disease. These physicians are to consult with Dr. Robinson, of
the city dispensary, in all doubtful cases, and will be supplied with the latest approved means to disinfect and- fumigate premises which have been occupied by persons who it may be thought best or safest to 'send to quarantine. The latter hospital is on the river bank, 12 miles below the city, capable of accommodating tiOO patients, and is one Of . the best appointed buildings of the .kind in the country.. Patients will be cared for there in the best possible manner, and refugees from the south, especially those with limited or no means who are sick; of any duease, will be infinitely better oCT,there than .at hotels or boarding houses i This action of the health commissioner 'meet--the -hearty approval of all classes of citizens, and takes awav the least fear, that the yellow fever will take hold in this city. 1 AT BATOf BOCGK. Furthermore, we hereby offer $5,000 reward for .evidence showing that it contains poisonous or injurious ingredients. We also offer $5,000 if we can not prove that it has reduced numbers of persens as stated herein, and always without injury. It is said a lie will out travel the truth any time; but we trust that those newspapers that have misled tbe public by saying that physicians attributed the lady's death jto the use cf Anti-Fat (which is only put np by us, the term "Anti Fat" being our trade mark), will correct the false impression they have conveyed by publishing this refutation.
