and Plow. Some Sound Advice, W. O. Spencer oj Madison county. N. Y. hits the nail on the
head as follows: I know a farmer who bought a lumber wagon now almost 30 years ago and to-day it is nearly as good a3 nerm It has been in constant U3e, but always kej under shelter when cot behind his team in the field or on the road. A neighbor of his bought one at the same time and made at the same shop, but in consequence of always leaving it out ol doors it went to ruin years ago, and now he has bought a new wagon for the third time. This is a fact, and the men are living to-day, one a successful farmer, with plenty of money to use and to loan, the othr an example of the worst effects of the opposite system. This one instance alone is sufliclent to "point a moral." It should teach a lesson to every man engaged in the pursuit of agriculture. To be constantly buying farm tools is more than a firmer can allord. Implements are expensive, and they should be made to last by being cared for. Every farmer should have a tool-house, and when a tool is not in use it should stand or hang in its place. A careful inventory of suchtoils occasionally would do much toward keeping tbem In their place and in good repair. Industry, economy and system will b3 of as much service to farmers as to any other class.
A few bints about what is fashionable art
always in order. Black silk street suits are
as fashionable now as they have b9en for several years past. Shirring is the ornament used for trimming the waist, sleeves and oversklrts. It is very stylish. In kid

ornamental stitching and long enough to
require i.-om four to eight or even ten button", are considered in the fcoit taste. L-
dies will gen?ra!ly appiar in the strceto with some kind cf an outside garment worn over tbs coraro. The shares aro very
numerous, tut they are all small.

NERVOUS DEBILITY,
Is characterized by a general languor or weakness of tbe whole organism, especially of the nervous system, obstructing and preventing the ordinary functions of ntture; hence, there is a disordered state of the secretions: constipation, scanty and hlgh-colorea nrlne, with an excess or earthly or limey sediment, indlcativeof waste of brain and nervous substance, frequent palpi-
laiionsoi me mi,iwui memory, ana marked irresolution of purpose, ami inabilty to carry into action any well denned business enterprise, or to fix tbe mind upon any one thing any length of time. There Is a great sensitiveness to impressions, though retained bnt ashore time, with a flickering and nattering condition of mental faculties, rendering an individual what
is commonly called a w hi file-minder, or fickleminded man. There must of necessity be in each Individual, different symptoms, recording to his peculiar organization, habits, pursuits and temperament, which ail serve to shape the manner of the manifestation of tnelr nervous disturbances, constituting a difference as marked as are their physical peculiarities dissimilar and peculiar to themselves. These differences, in tbe man
ner anu lorra ox meir manifestation, do not indicate any necessary difference to be followed in the treatment of any case wheie disease ha its origin in rhys'cal Injary : the ani remedies being alike applicable to the weak as tthe stroDs; to the stu-dy as to the sickly, varied only in degree of quantity and duration in the use of them iu order to overcome tbe disease. Nervous Debility, or what is pen rally regarded aa such, Is as protean typed in its peculiarities as are tbe dreams cf the shipwrecked mariner who, la his struggle? for safetv, lies down exhausted for a moment's sleep upon the wreck upon which he floats, with all the elements of destruction in mad commotion round him, when the first Instincts of his nature are a longing for a tomethinx so!id upon which he may find a standing plsce.
