Mississippi TAs Xashvil'e Contention. Th Mississippi legislature in convention of the two houses, on the 5i.h instant, elected W. L. Sharkey, C. P. Emitf, A. M. Clayton and S. S. Boyd, delegates for the State at large to the Nashville convention. J. W. Matthews and T. S. Wood, were elected dele, gales for the first C titfreasional district; G. F. Neill and G. II. Young for the second; W. R. Mile and J. J. Pettoe, for the third; and T. J. Stuart and J. J. McRae, for the fourth. Several members protested againt the proceedings. JV. O. True De-la. Buchanan and Hulseman, and now rati lied, mutually extends to all descriptions of property the exemption from taxes and charges heretofore secured to personal property.
