Heese Moore has entered complaint against Constable Glass and a man named LoDg for knocking him down Wednesday morning. He rays that Glais holds malice against him on account of the row at the Museum some weeks ao. James J. Powell, son In-law of Sylvester Johnson, died ai the residence of the latter at Irvington, Wednesday evening, of con sumption, aged thirty-four years. Ha leaves a wife and two children. He will be buried this evening at Crown Hill. The members of the S xteenth Indiana Regiment have contracted with the Oolitic Stone Company to furnish a shaft of stone of great size, to be erected by the regiment on the Gettysburg battlefield on the sp3t occupied by the regiment during the battle. Mary E. Pendergast yesterday filed an affidavit against her hustand, James, for surety of the peace. She filed a suit for divorce the day before, and yesterday James is said to have sworn he would kill her. He was sent to jail by 'Squire Smock in default of bond. Mary lives at 21 Maple strest. This evening andto morrow afternoon and night the famous bicycle riders, Miss Minnie Konchelle and Mr. Clarence H, Smith, will give exhibitions at the Virginia Avenue Kink. Mr. Smith will maVeatonrof the city, passing along Washington street about eood. on the large wheel of a bicycle, tha backbone and small wheel being removed. It will be a novel sight. The several prisoners convicted at the recent term of the Federal Court were arraigned and sentenced yasterday as follows: Charles Brown, burglarizing the Jeffersonville resteffice, and Edward Slater, of Fort Wayne, for counterfeiting, each four years; James R. Roberts, passing counterfeit rroney, three years; Georg Lithra?, ho rltied letters, one year ia the Howard County Jail; George Dubois, same offense, a like period in the Allen County Jail ; Thomas v aehington. Charles Florea and Miiton ilerheison, counterfeiters, two yean each; Lemuel Goodwin, one month; Thomas Kercs, three months, and George Fesler and James Hellish, ten days in jail. Peter Overton, a colored boy who forced a mooey order receipt, was Eent to the Reform School for two years, and Thomas Washington got eighteen months North for counterfeiting. Levi Hoiiowell, who was arrested with Gocdwin, Rhoda McRea and Anna McRride, for passing bad money, a3 allowed to depart, and Miss McRea was sent to th Reformatory for one year and Miss McBrido for three months.
