This stove with fixtures complete, comprises every necessary article of apparatus for an extensive cooking establishment. The different sires are calculated to do the cooking for small and large families, public houses and stcm boats, and are so extremely simple in their construction, as to be managed with case by a child, twelve cr fourteen years or age. With this stove may be cooked by baking, roasting, boiling, and by steam, a sutliciency ot meat, iish, fowls and vegetables, to make a dinner for trom 5 to ico persons, while the same time may be baked frou'oneto eight good sized loavci, of bread. OFFICE OF THE Emigrant society. At a late meeting of the Directors of the Madison Emigrant Society, they agreed with Mr. Nathan B. Palmer to open, on behalf of the society, an otlice cf Intelligence in this town. Having made this selection of the agent, and being well satisfied of his ability and zeal to elTect the objects of the societv, the directors hereby recommend Mr. Palmer and his odice to the attention of emigrants and others. In this oflice, according to notice already given, will be deposited whatever can be collected to render the establishment interesting and usetu! to the emigrant, and to those who 3re engaged to promote the improvement of our town and vicinity specially, and of Indiana in neneral. Books, maps, surveys, entries articles ot information will be open freeto theinspection of all who call at the otlice.
