The public arc cautioned against an assignment on a ccron a certificate for the s. e. quarter of section 18, in township seven north, in range eight east, of the jelLrsonvillc district; which quarter o: land was entered in the name of Riclratd Pool, and tr.mstered to the subscriber. Also on a certificate tor the north west quarter of section section No. 3, township 6 north, in range 2 east, of the jdfersonville district, entered m the name of David M;Collister, and transfered to the subiciiocr. C. rOSTLEY'S Patent Cooking Stoves, or Portable Kitchens. MANUFACTURED iz sold by H. MILLER Co. in Second street, two doors from the corner of Wood street, Pittsburgh; and also at their store, corner of Main and Columbia streets Cincinnati. This stove with fixtures complete, comprises every necessary article of apparatus for an extensive cooking establishment. The different sizes arc calculated to do the cooking for small and large families, public
houses and steam boats, and arc .so extremely simple in their construction, as to oe managed with ease bv a child, twelve or fourteen vcarsot age. With this stove may be cooked by baking, roasting, boiling, 2nd by steam, asulkciency of meat, fish, fowls and vegetables, to make a dinner for from 5 to 100 persons, while at the same time may be baked fron one to eight good sized loaves of bread. A wooden vessel containing from twenty to lift v gallons of vrater, can also be kept boiling, for the purpose of washing, &c. all these are done simultaneously and with one small fire ! The circumstance of these stoves having got into very general use at the eastward within two or three years past, particularly in the cities or N. York and Baltimore, with the rapid sale and general approbation thev have met with since their first introduction last winter, west of the mountains, are sufficient testimonials of their utility and advantage. The subscribers having purchased of the patentee, the right for making and vending said stoves in the western country, arc ready to execute with punctuality and despatch all orders, at their manufactury, as above, where also mav be had CaST and SHEET IRON STOVES, suitable for parlours, oliices, stores and bed-rooms, to which boilers may be attached it wanted.
