The K'ntleman "no doubt suffered Fren pain in eliciting the "production" he "brought forward j" Jrif we may credit his own statement, he possesses exquisite sensibility. His simpatby is not Cvcn obtunded by the murders in 1 cruelties he has committed c3 t'ie kingt English. He says,
"I really sympathise vrith Mr. Vernonhn, as respects his situation. Now, if your sympathetica!, tclcgraphica! scientiualy hy-per-criticaly philological, and prom-tus-isimal, "connoisseur" will condescend to point out to the "illiterate citizens of Vernon, the subject or nominative ot the verb, respects, he will elicit "some of his unbounded fund of ideas, on erudition and composition,' and dispel some of the ' obscurity' that nubilatcs our "dormantly confined' faculties. Mr. K. must be a gentleman of matchless power: for he intimates, in a latin sentence, (the orthography of which is amazingly exact;) at the clo-c of his last "general display,' that he will soon be ready for a future exhibition of his ". cijble composition!" As our alfactory nerves were rather disagreeably a'Jectcd by his last detonation, 1 eirnestly entreat the M idisonun "champion to discharge the next volume of his "enviable composition" in some oilier direction! I am convinced of his prowess: I, therefore, beg leave to withdraw and leave him in possession ot the field. VERNON I AN. Nov. x i th l S 19.

We had an arrival this morning from Margaritta, by which we icurn that the Island has latterly been very sickly; amongst the number of victims to the prevailing fever, are Generals English and Sandusky. General Devereux bad not arrived. From Angostura information had been received that Arismendi had effected a revolution in the government cf that piacc, and that Gen. Ordinati ivas marching in farce to cppoiehim; " The Brucus, Venezulian brig, is totally lost at Nevis; the Admiral lirion is dismasted at Five Islands, or the Saints, In haste, I am, &c. " P. S. Since writing you this morning I have been enabled to collect further particulars 9Qn
cerning the late Revolution at Angostura. . It . is certain that Zaer, late Vice President of the Venezulian Republic, has been deposed, and that Arismendi has been elected; or, more properly speaking, appointed President, in the room of Bolivar. How these dissentions will end, it is impossiple to hazard a conjecture, but I fear the worst consequences, from such a state of anarchy and confusion."
