State of Indiana,? v Jefferson County. $ We the Jury, summoned by the Coroner of the County aforesaid, to examine the body of a man (whose name is unknown) here lying dead in the Ohio river, adjoining the lands of James Ingraham, after a particular examination, (as the nature of the case would admit of) are of opinion that he came to his death by being drowned. He appears to be a small man, and advanced in years ; he had two pair of pantaloons on, the under pair linen, the upper pair cloth, of a Spanish brown colour; striped vest, coloured neck handkerchief, one pair of long woolen stockings and socks over them, coarse shoes which had been half soiled and nails drove round the soles and heels ; had on two trusses ; a linen shirt, supposed to be a six hundred ; twelve and a half cents found in his pantaloons pocket, had on woolen nit double suspenders.
