The house then again resolved itself into a committee of the whole, Mr. Pitkin in the chair, on the report of the committee of military affairs on the Seminole War, with the amendments disapproving of the conduct of that war. Mr. Clay delivered a speech in favor of these resolutions, which occupied three hours in the delivery. Mr. Johnson of Kentucky took the floor on the other side, and had spoken about an hour, when having given way tor a motion for hat purpose, the committee rose and the House adjourned.
