yr-vCT ill be offered for sale at VV Auction on the 22d clay of October next, on the premises, that well known scite at Provine or Gulick's mill, containing eighty-three acres of good land, thirty of which are under cultivation ; there are on the premises a ternporary grist mill, which does crood business, a saw mill and carding machine's for wool, two comfortable cabins & a log barn, a number of never failing springs, which afford water sufficient tor the wool carding machine's; there is also a still house of logs. .Also fr Sic seventeen acres of wood land about half a mile distant from the above. Provine is situate on the post road leading from the falls of Ohio to Madison, Indiana, about 10 miles from Charleston, and twenty miles from Madison; there is- a Post Office kept at the place it is an elegant stand for a Public house, a number of public roads intersect here. NOTJCE. IS hereby given, that on the 1 2th day of November next, the undisposed of lots which are to compose the town of PALE STINE, will be exposed to public sale, on the following liberal terms, viz. one 5th prompt payment, one 5th at the expiration of 6 months, and so on in succession, until the whole is paid. PALESTINE Is the county seat of Lawrence county, state of Indiana, is situate on a most delightful Bluff, on the cast fork of White river, where the second principal meridian crosses the same, in latitude 3 8 10 N. longitude 90 10 W. from Washington, 60 miles from Vincennes, 55 miles N. W. from New Albany, 20 miles N. from Paoli, 24 miles south from lMoomington, and 80 miles from the mouth of White river, which is a beautiful stream, affording Uie best navigation of any river in the interior ot the state. No town in

the state can boast of more local advantrges than this ; abounding with never failing springs, being surrounded with an entire body of good lands and enjoying the advantages, of the river. There were sold on the 25th and 26th of May last, 157 lots for Hl65 dolls, mostly to enterprizing men, there are yet for sale about 160 lots, some of which, are among the best lots in town ; also on Saturday the 14th of Nov. there will be let to the lowest bidder, the building ot a superb brick Court House, which will be a job of considerable magnitude, and worthy of the attention' of workmen. SALE OF LOTS In the town of Concord, On Wednesday the 18th of November next will be offered at public sale on the premises, a number of lots situated on the bank of the Ohio river, 10 miles below Madison, and joining the town of London in Jeflmon county Indiana, yet no way connected, being a separate purchase free from ail incumbrance- The local situation of this town is highly advantageous, surrounded by as good a settlement as any on the river, a number of grist and saw.mills built and building convenient. It is an excellent harbor for shipping in every stage of water. The plan ot Concord is on a liberal scale ; the streets are wide and advantageous Market street 1 1 o feet and ground reserved for a Church and other public buildings. A plan of the town can be seen at Mr. Geo. Shannon's, surveyor for that county, and at Jesse Embree & Co's. ofiice Cincinnati. The main road from Frankfort and Newcastle Kentucky, to Lexington, Salem, Brownstown, and the new purchase, Indiana, runs through this place, with other leading roads. It is the best crossing place on the river for a considerable distance. Terms of sale four equal payments at 6, 12, 18, & 24 months without interest ; a deduction of eight per cent, wili be allowed on payments in advance. The situation and advantages of town, country, and river, will recommend it to merchants, mechanics, and enterprising men, who will meet with every encouragement. Town of Henry, THE subscriber will offer for sale a number of lots in the town of Henry, on the 5th day of November next. This town is situated in the south west corner of Dearborn county, Indiana, in a beautiful bottom on the bank of Laughery creek, fourteen miles from the Ohio river, and on the main leading road from Madison to Lawrenceburg, by the best and nearest rout. The road from Vevay to Brookville will also pass through this place. As to natural advantages the town of Henry can boast of as many as almost any other in the state ; being well watered, a healthy situation and surrounded by a very fertile country, which is rapidly settling. Adjoining the town plat the subscriber has erected a ghrist and sawmill, which will in a few weeks be in complete operation. The terms ot sale will be one tenth of the purchase money in hand, and the balance in three equal annual instalments. JOHN WATTS. October 1, 1818. P.
