TUB SOUTHERN* HAIFESTO. , WiflBtQTOS, Dec 13. To Our Constitution : The argument in exhausted: all -hope of relief in the Union, through the agency of committees and Congressional legislation or Connitdliooal amendments, is extiogushed, and, we trust, the South wilt not bo deceived by the appearances or the pretence of new guarantees. Tbs Republicans are resolute in their purpose to grant nothing that will or ought to satisfy the South.— In onr judgment, the honor, safety, and independence ot the Southern people arc to be found only in a Southern Confederacy—the inevita* bln result of State secession; that the able and primary object of each slave; helping State ought to be ita speedy, absolute separation from en unnatural end hostile Union. Signed by Pugh, Cloptoo, Moore, Cqrry and Stahvorlh, Ala.; Iverson, Underwood, Gartrell, Jackson, Junes and Crawford, Ga.; Hawkins, Fla; Hindman, Ark ; Brown, Barksdale, Singleton and R.
