As we arc now in iho midst of the blackberry season, we subjoin a.few receipts (or diflerent preparations of that common ■ but excellent' and healthful fruit, which may be accept* able to our fair readers:. Black derry Cordial.— Tha fol* lowing is said to be not only an excellent beverage, bnta cure for diarrhoea, &c.: To half a bushel, of blackberries, well mashed, add lb of allspice, 2 on. cinnamon, 3 oz. cloves. ■ Pulverize" well, mix and boil slowly till properly done.
