The region of conniry along-the Marietta road is not very attractivo to the eye, as it is poorly improved and cultivated. The cars pass along the valley affording o grand view on cither side, olten following a beautiful river or creek, for many miles, as if intent oo “running it down/ 1 then darting under a tunnel, shutting daylight out from view* we traverse the side of a mountain with solid ruck banging over us on the upper side so high that the top can not be seep without sticking your head out of the window.
