New Orleans papers of tho 21st, contain a statement mailo by the prisoners aboard the Mexican prize steamer, corresponding snbsl ant (ally with tho accounts already published. The Miramon .bad . a crew of 250 men, mostly Spaniards* forty of whom were hilled, and wounded in the engagement. :They state, that the nmutunition, etc.; was put on board at Havana with the knowledge of ilia Cuban government. A large portion of her cargd consisted of powder, * which was thrown overboard to avoid detection. Some of tbe barrels of this powder have been recovered, and proved to be tbe taint f.s used in the arsenals at Havana.

A man named Hanson, recently expelled from Berea, Madison Co., Ky., with John G. Fee, returned.— The committee again ordered him from the county. Hanson, with 25 or 30 associates, armed with rifles, fired on the committee. Nobody wounded. Hanson's party returned, and barricaded themselves in a house, The committee numbers 25 or 30 men, armed with revolvers. A military force has been ordered from Lexington. It is thought the disturbance will soon be quelled. ~~~~~~~
' Some women of Centerville, Wayne county, Ind., made'a’descent on a liquor shop in that place some months'ago and destroyed it. The owner of it brought suit against them for damages, and a coup!© of weeks ego the case was tried. A judgement for 8150 was rendered'against the fair rioters. ,
