The Arctic steamer Fox had fo* turned with inlciesting records nmi relics of the Franklin expedition, from which it appears that Franklin died ‘ in 1847,' ami the. ship was abandoned in 1843,

When 50 miles south of Cape flatten, the engine was broken, causing great excitement on board. Sbadburne, of Boston, from Turks Island, hound to New York, to the relief of the passengers. The passengers were mainly transferred to tbo bark, with a supply of provisions, and arrived safely in Hampton Hoads last night, under chat go of J. J. Hargon and Dr. Finnell, surgeon of the ship.— Twelve of the passengers, and all of tbo officers of tbo steamer preferred remaining on hoard. Bho was last seen forty miles south of Capo Hatteras. No Hi\b were lost.
