Both of these men have good farms, and both raise hay. | One of them has a hay press, the ether has none. The latter engaged, the former to press his bay for him. j They failed to agree about the ow- { nership of the seed that shattered off while the hay was being pressed; the one demanded tha seed, worth some 10 or 15$,-and the Other refused to let him have it; whereupon the other refused to , pay! the balance due for pressing tbe bay until bo got the seed. The hay press man bronght suit .'before a. Jnsticc of the Peace, and lost the snu; he appealed it to , tbe Circuit Court, and there tbe suit was again decided against him; andnow he has appealed to the Supreme Court. The costa of the snit already amount to over $300,.exclusive of lawyer fees. Which over party gets the seed, will pay dear for it, while the one .losing the snit, will have to pay dearly for his fun.
