Is this right—is.it fair? I take this position:—The to the farmers; the money or credit in the possession of the belong to them; they arc both commodities; each equal right to set their own price oh their own article. If one party see propci to publish. “ Dispatches,” “ Feelers,” or "Bunkum” articles under fictidousnaracs, the other have an equal right at least nn der their own proper name. All that is necessary is for the farmers to speak out freely and publicly what they hiow lo bo a fair prico for their hay, end the price is then set for the season. But how has it been heretofore? Why A BC deb arc short of funds to conduct their harvest; they go to E. and F., speculators, and are compelled to sell thsir entire crop at ruinous prices, in order to got fifty or a hundred dollars advanced to cut their crop with; and then these low rates ard trumpeted all over the country as the established prico of hay, and in this way tho formers ore absolutely swindled out of from one to five hundred dollars each, annually. Now this is riot as it should' bo. Why not set your cirri price on your hay, as you do on your horse or cow?— | Speak out boldly and fearlessly in vindi* i cation of your dearly earned rights. Have \ a public and thorough interchange of opinion on tho subject; establish your own price at fair living rates and no more, and my woid for it, your crop will all be sold ere tho season expires, and no violence done to any person, as tho speculator will in the end make bis usual profit, j
