THERE'S a group of Indianapolis people who'll ride (on

horseback) 16 miles for breakfast. It isn't the breakfast they're after when they do this. Rather, the group, members of the Indianapolis Saddle Club, do it for the

sport. * Included in these equestrian enthusiasts is Mrs. John L, Scott, 5660 Hillside Ave, who rides her own horse, Ginger.

Mrs. t says that before taking interest in riding, she Used buy horses because

they were pretty. But she adds these horses sure were tough to ride.

On her birthday, June 1, 1939, Migs Beard's gift was apJpointment as editor of the magagine. It took 8% years to reach this 100-edition mark. . ” » ANTIQUE HUNTING in Euyrope gave Mrs, 8. G. Garvey, 1 E. 36th Bt, unusual results. Mrs. Garvey returned from abroad three weeks ago laden with her antique treasures. But there was something special she brought back in the form of three miniature porcelain pieces. Years ago, while in Canada, she purchased two miniature cupids—one sitting on a wedding trunk holding a ring and the other sitting om the floor with a wedding ring. Her trip to Berlin this year enabled her to complete this set with two porcelain cupids and a love bird house. And she didn’t go to Germany with intentions of finding these pieces, » » 8 A NEW HOUSE and a new baby are keeping Mr. and Mrs. John A, Scudder Jr., 5380 Primrose Ave. busy.
