Gold Ladies to Aid Hospital Fete

(OLD LADIES who do volunteer work in Central State Hospital under

sponsorship of the Marion County Association for Mental Health will play a lead role next Sunday as hostesses at the Larue D. Carter Memorial Hospital’s open house. The event, set for 2 to 5 p. m., will be open to the public.

Dental Unit To Entertain

Husbands will be entertainef by members of the Women's Auxiliary, Indianapolis Dental Boclety, at a pitch-in picnic Oct. 1 in the home of Dr. and Mrs, Arthur W. Spivey, Road 100. A covered-dish supper will be preceded by games. The large Spivey barn will serve as a floor for square dancing and old-fashioned waltzing. Miss Thelma Patterns will call the dances to the fiddling of Charlie Nelson. Mrs. Ronald 8. Ping, chairman, will be assisted by Mesdames W. B. Currie, Dave Burton, C. P. Hamer and W. W. Peet, Mrs, J. R. Donagh will be in charge of refreshments.
