Churches Here Sabbath School Records "Threatens Suit
List Speakers
Many Special Services Planned
Indianapolis churches announce
a brilliant array of speakers ad
the coming week. The First Presbyterian Church will present President Robert Worth Frank of the McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, in an address titled, “Let Us Glorify the Church” at 7 p. m. Thursday following the family night dinner. Dr. Frank, native Hoosier and Wabash College alumnus, has been invited as part of the celebration of the publication of “Book of Mercies” by Dr. George Arthur Frantz, minister. Both the Broadway Methodist Church and a district mass meeting of Methodists in the Roberts Park Church will hear Dr. Robert B. Pierce speak on his re-| cent air tour of Europe and the Holy Land.
‘Assignment Jerusalem’
Dr. Pierce, minister of the Broadway Church, will speak on: “Assignment Jerusalem” at 7:30 p. m, Tuesday In the Roberts Park Church. The Rev. Robert Miller, who was in the same party with Dr. Plerce, will lead the devotions at the meeting. Charles R. Hamilton will lead the singing and Mrs. Joan Adkins will give 2 solo. Dr. C. T. Alexander, district superintendent, will preside. The regular district meeting will precede the lecture. The Lydia Circle of Dr. Plerce’s parish will sponsor him in a lecture at 8 p. m. Monday in his church. He will use the topic, “1 Walked Where Jesus Walked.” The Irvington Presbyterian Church and its chapter of Presbyterian Men will be hosts for a “ladies night” dinner Thursday. Dr. Elton Trueblood, Earlham College philosophy professor, author of many books, world traveler and lecturer, will speak following the 6:30 p. m. dinner.

The Second Moravian Church will present the Rev. James Hastings, native pastor of the Moravian Church of Jamalea, British West Indies, in a talk at 7:30 p. m. tomorrow. The Rev. H s will talk about the work of the church on the islands and about the havoe wrought by the hurricane some months ago. He is a member of the Provincial Elders Conference, the governing board of the Moravian Church in Jamaica. The Washington Street PresChurch is inviting the community to join the congregation in welcoming guests from Korea and the Philippines at 10:45 a. m. tomorrow. Miss Pong Soon Lee, Souel, Korea, and Miss Eugena Masa from Silliman University, Manila, will speak then. Mrs. Willard: Edmonson, Clay: ton, Ind, and the little Indidn girl, Betty, from the Presbyterian Mission, Ganago, Ariz, also will be ‘at the gervice.
