Toy Exhibit Hostesses

THE theme and hostesses for the Indianapolis Branch, American Association of University Women's annual book and toy exhibit are announced by Mrs. E. W. Hebel, hostess chairman. The event is scheduled Oct. 21-25 in Ayres’ Auditorium. “The Picture Story of Books and Toys” is this year's educational exhibit theme. The plans were completed so delegates to

The Marion County Council of PTA will meet from 10 to 11:30§ a. m. Thursday in the Meridian Room, Colonial Furniture Co.

The program is for council unit chairmen of the National Parent Teacher and Indiana Parent Teacher magazines, the parent education study group and the membership, hospitality, publicity and parliamentary committees. Robert F. Gladden, Marion County school superintendent, will conduct a question and answer period on school taxation in the same place from 12:30 to 2p. m. “The Relationship of Parents to the Child” will be discussed by Mrs. Louis W. Bruck at a meeting of the Maywood Unit, scheduled for 7:30 p- m. Thursday. The fall festival of the Gar#en City Unit will follow a 5 p. m. supper Thursday in the school.
