Inquest Set in Death Of Stabbed Farmer

HARTFORD CITY--A coroner’s inquest will be held today into the death of Oakley Banter, 46, a Roll Ind., farmer who died of meningitis inducted by a stab wound in the temple.

State police said Mr. Banter may have been wounded with a screw driver during a fight in the backyard of his home. Mr. Banter died Tuesday at Hartford City hospital.
