Film Bans Don’t Hold Up Here .

movie fans will get a chance to see “Latuko,” a documentary film centered around the Latuko tribe of Africa. Nixed in Chicago on the’ grounds of “nudity and cruelty —to-animals‘==the-fHm; ‘neverthe-- —ereriys less, is a factual and educational } account of life in this little-known tribe. In order to gather these pictures, the first actual photographic and sound record of the Latukos, a group of craftsmen headed by Edgar M. Queeny and sponsored by the. American Museum of Natural History undertook a four-month safari into Africa's Anglo-Egyptian Sudan. The men traveled 8000 miles in specially built trucks - which carried 10 16-mm. motion picture cameras and high-frequency, magnetic tape recorders, newly| developed by the Bell Telephone laboratories,
