"THERE was nothing dated abou the Children’s Museum Guild fashion show yesterday in the Columbia

Club except for the old-time dresses used for color.

And

these were taken from the Museum itself and set up the

day before by struggling members who tried to fit straps and snaps together. Breathlessly rushing in the last minute was Mrs. Roland Charron, 608 E. 46th St. She had just left a good golf game and had fought her way through the “Ike” parade to get to the club. Mrs. Gerald Bender, 602 E. 46th St., wearing a black dress featured in the Jo Copeland collection, decided she couldn't attend today's fashion event dince she’s breaking in a new

maid. ” a n

IF YOUR husband is an attorney, his curiosity is excusable. Mrs, Robert E. Jones, 6384 Broadway, is used to having her hubby raise questions when she or her friends are talking. The usual one’s are “Who?” “Why?” What is the reason behind it? Social friends are no different from clients for these men of logic. =» ~ = A NEW garage will be going up soon on the Edward Ryans’ grounds, Mijllersville Rd. During the mer the Ryans have been keeping their cars outside with the garage doors closed. And their daughter Susie, with her- neighborhood friends, has been taking advantage of the place by playing house in it. When Mr. Ryan checked it last night, he saw the addition of curtains, old chairs and other pieces of furniture which transformed the once car-house into

a doll-house. s Ed »

Steel Cans Ideal To Store Seed

Home gardeners find that galvanized steel garbage cans make ideal storage containers for left-over seeds and bulbs. Equipped with close-fitting cov-

ers, these storage cans offer complete protection against rats and moisture. Grass seed may be poured into the bottom of the can.

Flower seeds may be placed in individually labeled packages and placed on top the grass seed. Remaining space near the top of the can may be used for bulbs.

A tag listing contents of the can may be attached to one of the can’'s handles for speedy identification when planting time comes around again.
