‘Everything’ in
Ta
Awe
By DEAN H. ROBINSON
The home for this week is
small and yet there, is room for tour fedrooms and a separate dining room. Its rectangular shape makes for economy and if wood siding were substituted for brick veneer, this home should furnish more cubic feet of living space for as little money as any home in the series. There is hardly a desirable feature known that has been left out of the interior design. As we walk through the front door, we find a vestibule and coat closet, To the right is a fair sized dining room and a compact well designed kitchen with a window over the sink and the service stairs right beside. To the left is the living room | R with a natural fireplace and win- ~— {fH L | Vv NG M. dows on both sides as well as in 5° ’ front. Behind this room is a small 112 x 15 8 hall leading to the bath and two downstairs bedrooms and the stairs leading up. Both of these bedrooms have cross ventilation and good size closets. The: upstairs is shown unfinished inh the plans as every one "has different ideas about what should be done up here. If rear dormers were added there would be room enough and light enough for two more bedrooms and a bath, which of course could be finished off at a later date. This would make the original cash outlay for this home even less. « The basement is excavated under the entire house and this | offers the same amount of usable space there as the first floor,
