‘Miss America’ to Star as Mrs.

But a look at the record shows is isn’t so.
Actually, the.girl ambitious for her name in lights has reached the “pinnacle the night she’s crowned the nation’s No. 1 beauty. From then on, fame fleets, ! There have been a few Miss| Americas who have gone on ‘to careers in the movies, radio, television or nightclubs—all of them winners since 1940 when talent as well as beauty came into con-| sideration. But none has risen
to the fame of a Marilyn Monroe. At least not yet,
